allow individuals legally licensed to carry concealed weapons to carry their weapons on military installations.

Created by R.C. on March 24, 2015

Currently individuals licensed to carry concealed weapons are not allowed to carry their weapons onto military installations. This is a serious risk for our servicemembers, their families, retirees/veterans, and all others authorized access to the installation.

The minimum figure for Defensive Gun Uses is about 760,000 each year (see John R. Lott's More Guns, Less Crime). These figures are compiled from polls by the LA Times, Gallup, and Peter Hart Research Associates.

Our military members are already held to higher standards due to their commitment to the nation. It is accepted they recieve training which they use to safely handle weapons. Military members sacrifice so much to protect the American public, why not allow them to protect themselves at all times instead of disarming them?
