With communication and technology driving forward, the citizens of the United States should have the ability to question, poll and confirm congressional appointees to offices.
The current system is antiquated and is due for a refresh. We now have the ability to have direct citizen interaction in the choosing of those who will directly impact our lives. It should not be left on party lines to decide where this country goes and the policy it makes. It should be left up to those who are then required to follow and uphold it.
We should no longer be held back by those who refuse to accept scientific proof in favor of their own party beliefs and political careers. The people have a need and a right to a voice in this decision making process.
