The Keystone XL pipeline project is just what our economy needs now. This is a great opportunity to increase the revenue stream to all levels of government through the taxes generated from the work and permits needed to complete the project. Once complete there will be an ongoing stream of revenue that will be used to support our nations infrastructure and continue to provide funds for disbursement back into our nations economy. If this opportunity is not taken advantage of, there will continue to be meager financial resources available for proper maintenance of our nations infrastructure and provide for the common good of our citizens.
It will also enable us to use North American energy sources and help support this hemisphere's economy rather than Asian or Mid-Eastern economies.
