My name is jeff Magart. I have a criminal record from partying too much. I have no felonies all misdemeanors and infractions. I have been trying to enlist since 2005 and have always been turned away because of my record. I found out that up until 2009 I could have gotten a waiver but because the recruiters were and I quote, " too lazy to fill out the papers." That's from the most recent recruiters I have spoken with. I have had my record expunged and all issues with the law stopped in 2006. I was 18-19 then and am 26 now. I have learned my lessons and become a better man because of them. I am trying my hardest despite everyone telling me to quit. I am doing this to give my fiancé and daughter a better life.
