allow Jill Stein and other third-party candidates access to the 2016 presidential debates

Created by J.P. on March 16, 2016

The two-party system does not accurately reflect the nature of American politics today. Candidates are required to "have a level of support of at least 15 percent of the national electorate as determined by five selected national public opinion polling organizations." This has become a self-fulfilling prophecy and third-party messages cannot reach the American public. We are asking the Obama administration to initiate dialogue with the Commission on Presidential Debates to lower the 15 percent threshold.
