Allow Justice To Be Served For The Victims Of The Invisible War

Created by A.C. on June 19, 2013

Order the Justice Department to stop defending cases where former service members bring suit against other service members, past and present, for rape and other unlawful acts.
Because such behavior does not serve any military purpose, it is unacceptable that the courts are ruling that rape and other abuses are incidental to service, and therefore the perpetrators are immune from accountability.
Instruct the Solicitor General to petition the U.S. Supreme Court to modify, or reverse the Feres Doctrine, which provides the military with blanket immunity for willingly protecting rapists from prosecution, while punishing the victims of these crimes. We must insure that we protect the constitutional rights of the men and women who risk their lives to serve this nation.
