President Obama should allow the building of the Keystone pipeline from Canada to Louisiana as it would be beneficial to the economy by not only creating private sector jobs, but also providing a cheap way to import oil and lower gasoline prices. The claim that the pipeline is detrimental to the environment is offset by the fact that a pipeline allows for transportation of oil in a more energy efficient way than the use of ships and trucks.
