To allow Kinship families to have the same benefits offered to Foster Care families or Families that receive ADC.

Kinship families are relatives that step up to take care of children whose parents cannot take care of them because the parents drug abuse, imprisonment, etc. Many of these are grandparents. Alot of these grandparents are struggling financially to support the children. Kinship families often don't qualify for benefits such as help with daycare costs, food stamps, Medical bills. Often the reason Kinship families don't qualify for benefits is many of them work. However, they are struggling financial with sudden/unexpected costs. If the grandparents did not take custody of their grandchildren they would end up in the foster care system. Kinship families are considered "cheap labor" in the children services system. Please help these families get much needed benefits.
