Allowing lane-splitting for motorcycles will make the road safer for motorcycles and protect them from extreme weather condition (i.e. hot weather). It will also free up traffic in major cities where congestion is a big issue, especially during the rush hours. This practice will ultimately lead to fewer rear-end collision fatalities of bikers which makes everyone who rides in a safer position when on the road.
