The US constitution clearly states that the right to bear arms should not be infringed upon. This would include the goverment owning firearms that citizens can't legally posses with out special permits and scrutiny from the federal goverment. This will give citizens the right to bear modern firearms under the NFA act so a well regulated militia for the security of a free state.
We as American citizens have the same rights as the federal goverment does and should not be treated any differently
