Allow legal adults 18 years of age and older to purchase, and consume beer, and wine.

Created by J.S. on December 08, 2012

If alcohol was available to purchase at 18, it would mean increased revenue, and spending money for the state government. When you turn 18, you are allowed to do more things, than you ever have been able to do, but one thing you can't do is buy alcohol. Smoking cigarettes is more detrimental to your health, thank drinking alcohol. So why is ok for an 18 year old to purchase an extremely addictive substance, but not buy any alcohol, which is less addictive, and not as bad for you health? Making alcohol available to purchase at 18, will cut cost for police officers to pursue underage drinkers, and battle it out in court. If they can handle all the responsibilities they have at 18, then they can handle the responsibility of drinking alcohol.
