In light of the recent tragedies involving mass shootings, some Americans are suggesting that there is a need for more gun control.
Most of this rhetoric comes from Liberal Americans who would like to see our second amendment rights stripped from all Americans.
As a Libertarian American I believe that my rights should be protected. With this in mind I have come up with a solution. Let's allow the Liberals who do not believe Americans should have gun rights to surrender their weapons and register themselves as having also surrendered their constitutional right.
This program could expand to allow them to surrender other Constitutional rights as they desire.
We can think of this as a conscientious objector program for liberty. Allow those who wish to keep freedom to do so as they wish.
