There is overwhelming evidence in this country that the general populace is extremely dissatisfied with two-party system. Recents polls have shown that Congress has as low as 5% approval rating. Yet our system remains highly biased in favor of the two parties running Congress who cannot convince more than 5 people out of 100 to voice approval of their performance as so-called public servants. Gary Johnson has served successfully as a popular Republican governor for two terms in a state where the majority of his constituents identified as Democrats. His approval ratings were higher than anything Congress could ever hope to achieve in their wildest dreams. If this does not qualify him to appear in the presidential debates, than our political process is an even bigger joke than I thought.
