All military personnel should not have to leave their pistols at home because they will stop by the PX or Commissary while they are out running errands with their families, or by themselves.
At the minimum, the individual should be able to keep his or her pistol in their vehicle while on a military installation. I am pushing for full conceal carry though.
Military personnel are trained in the use of weapons and know when to use them. Why should they be stripped of the right to defend themselves because they are on post?
If conceal carrying on post is not possible, then a storage method should be made at the main gate of every military installation to enable an individual to safely store his or her weapon while they conduct business.
