Letchugilla Cave in Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a fragile wonder of the natural world, and a national treasure. That said, it should not be restricted to a privileged few who have either the means or luck to work in a profession that allows access. Every citizen of the United States of America should have the opportunity to visit in a strictly regulated manner. This is NOT a petition to allow free, unregulated access. All we want is the opportunity for an average citizen to have a once in a lifetime experience.
