Long Island's cost of living by far exceeds the cost of living of our upstate partners, we are unfairly judged by our current government & are overlooked. We have more people than our representation proves & more officials than the "State of Rhode Island" (4 layers of Gov't, for some). Paying the highest property tax, utility costs, educational costs, and overall costs of living in this country country; gives right to this petition. A better quality of life is what we seek!
