Allow Long Island to secede from the state of New York and become its OWN state.

Mr. Obama, please recognize Long Island as the 51st US State. Long Islanders are paying more in taxes than we are getting back in aid from the state. Most Long Islanders love New York, but this injustice must stop! Allow Nassau, Suffolk, Kings, and Queens counties to secede from the state of New York and form a Long Island state, to join Rhode Island as being the second state to have "Island" in its name. New York state will have to deal with having only three boroughs, but that's tough luck!
