Madison County, Alabama lies within a common path of tornado activity and would suffer major difficulties with recovery efforts without federal aid. Additionally, with the installation of Redstone Arsenal located in southern Madison County, it is entirely feasible for Madison County to operate as a state in its own right, within the United States, in the event that Alabama is successful in the current bid to secede. It is important for Madison County to remain in the union as to do so would protect it's citizens' standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers.
