We feel it is vital to the well being of our nation to allow for the marriage of a man or woman to a loved non-human companion. These companions provide the love, intimacy, and commitment that so many Americans are unable to find in a traditional marriage. Furthermore, providing for the health of these companions creates an extreme financial burden as non-traditional/non-human health care is not covered by traditional insurance plans or ObamaCare, and this should be addressed to provide for their care. The death-benefit provided by the Social Security Administration should also be extended to the surviving spouse of these treasured companions.
