Allow medical marijuana patients to reside in federal housing or receive federal assistance

As many states have recognized the beneficial medical use of marijuana, issues have arisen. One such issue is using medical marijuana in federal housing or in housing assisted by federal benefits. Many studies have shown marijuana to be effective treatment to many ailments. The people who choose to use this alternative medicine shouldn't have to also worry about being homeless. People that reside in federal housing or receive federal assistance with their rent shouldn't have to give up effective treatment or their housing. Many of those receiving federal housing/assistance are very low income, poverty level individuals, seniors, disabled people, and disabled veterans. Many of whom would benefit from medical marijuana for their ailments.
