We, the members of the United States Armed Services, respectfully request our Commander in Chief, to allow for the arming of members of the United States Military while on any military installation. Our military bases are gun free zones and as such, have allowed for the shootings at Fort Hood, the Washington Naval Yard and at Norfolk Naval Station to occur. This request is only valid if the members have been licensed by their home states or the state of their current duty station, have a current pistol qualification according to their respective branch and are allowed to carry a weapon pursuant to all local, state and federal laws.
