allow members of the US armed forces to concealed and/or open carry personal weapons on base.

All members of the US military demonstrate that they are able to responsibly and safely handle firearms. With threats to our military abroad and domestically our military is effectively trapped in a gun free zone while on base or off base in between their homes and work. There have been multiple active shooter scenarios where US military have been attacks while at military installations where the service members were left defenseless due to lack of access to a weapon to defend themselves. While these bases do have Military Police/Security Forces there is still serious limitation of their ability to keep those on their base from harm. We there for petition the President and Congress to reverse the currently legislation and allow US Military service members the permission to carry on base.
