Allow the men and women of the United States Armed forces overtime pay when not in combat theater.

Created by S.S. on December 07, 2012

Time is one of the most valuable things to an Active Duty military personal. Please consider allowing "overtime" pay compensation for Active Duty military personal serving at home away from combat. Thousands of hours are wasted of many military personal in active duty status because it is known that they can be used anytime during the day or night, called from their homes and families for no good reason except maybe one soldier or two is in trouble. Overtime will not only give soldiers a little more cash in their pockets, but it will also force Units not to disregard the valuable time with their families when they are home and not in combat situations. Of course certain training criteria can be met for exemptions, but for a day to day basis, a "9 to 5" setting and style pay can help.
