Save the jobs of thousands of new airline employees hired because of the merger of USAirways and American Airlines.
The Department of Justice already allowed the mega mergers of Delta/Northwest and Continental/United. Stopping this merger puts US Airways/American at a disadvantage to compete. Since 9/11 the of employees of both American and USAirways faced a future of uncertainty, with significantly reduced wages and benefits. This merger will INCREASE healthy competition, increase job security for employees at both carriers, and it creates new jobs!
