Whereas Federal DOT Regulations allow for a National Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) with either 75 clinical hours or 75 ambulance runs to be elligible for Paramedic Training with no distinction of occurance.
Whereas all military medics for the since 2004 have been required to maintain NREMT ratings by Department of Defense.
Whereas many Paramedic Course across the nation refuse to honor military medical expirence, even if it was the required clinical hours in an emergency room setting, or ambulance runs that where in a civilian style ambulance providing EMS coverage on a stateside military base.
That all Paramedic Course that recieve Federal Student Loans and/ or Grants must allow 7 military medic/EMT in their programs or face the lost of federal educational dollars.
