allow Military Medics (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard) to receive reciprocity from the NREMT as Paramedics.

Created by A.P. on January 14, 2013

Allow military medics to work as Paramedics in the civilian sector, and be licensed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. That may mean a "Military to Civilian" transition course, or be licensed out right. It is ridiculous that our military medics can act almost as physicians in the military, but are only licensed as an EMT-Basic (the lowest level). Let's give our talented medics the credit they deserve, and make it easier to find work in the civilian sector!
