I feel that military members should be allowed to carry personal firearms on to military installations and other federal locations. At a time where America's enemies could be walking amongst us it makes perfect sense to allow military members to protect themselves. As it stands personal firearms are not allowed to be carried on to federal installations. With the past shootings on bases and the current threat from radical groups we need to be able to better protect ourselves. Going to and from base we stop at stores, gas stations, daycare, etc. and are unable to properly protect ourselves until we finally get home. We wear the uniform and chose to protect others. It's our time for the government to let us protect ourselves.
