Currently military members are not allowed to have beards unless they have shaving waivers. Also, they are not allowed to have hands in their pockets, because of customs and courtesies. I have 10 years in and plan on another 10, so I'm not trying to disrespect any custom or courtesy, I think this would improve morale and increase retention.
