Allow military members with security clearances and conceal carry permits to carry weapons on military installations.

Created by N.G. on September 16, 2013

Current federal law prohibits individuals from carrying their personal firearms on a military installation. The only defense on an installation is the military police, which take 5-15 minutes to respond to an incident (Ford Hood shooting & at the Washington Navy Yard on 9/16/2013). This delay results in higher fatalities of patriotic men & women that serve our country in civil service, military, & contractor positions.

Military personnel with clearances are thoroughly vetted for mental health issues & conceal carry permit holders know how to safely employ their weapons. This would greatly increase the probability of survival and in a similar incident by neutralizing criminals that disregard the law and take weapons on installations with the intent to kill.
