Isis has stated their intent to attack US Military personnel at their homes and places of work (and have gone so far as to publish select names/addresses), yet we are still prohibited from defending ourselves. There has been a spike in concealed carry permits In the US over the past few years, but arguably the highest trained group of individuals are effectively prohibited from carrying if we work on a military base or in a federal building. I find it highly ironic (and sad) that the military's guide to an active shooter situation is to barricade and hide. Perhaps we wouldn't have lost four Marine brothers today (16JUL15) if one of them had a personal weapon.
