Allow military service members to carry concealed firearms on military installations.

Created by D.H. on December 11, 2013

Military service members should be allowed to carry concealed firearms on all military installations when they are in possession of a valid concealed weapon permit issued by the state. Had concealed carry been permitted, service members could have potentially stopped the shooters at Fort Hood and the Washington Naval Yard. Military members that must travel from off base to on base for work do not have the ability to defend themselves. Concealed carry weapons are not allowed to be kept in vehicles while at work. Think of what could happen if a military member is held at gunpoint while travelling to/from work while unarmed or even while taking their family on base for an appointment. We MUST stop denying our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines the right and ability to defend themselves.
