In California, we are not allowed to have monkeys as household pets. A monkey should be allowed to be a household pet, because they are one of the most interesting and creative animals the world has to offer. To communicate and learn with them in public society will allow us to learn much more about them. They are smart animals that will develop good connections with the people of California if people give the animals a chance to show what they can do.
