The restrictions of only being able to use 800 characters when submitting a petition on this site severely limits the scope of issues that can be submitted here. I am requesting that the number of characters allowed for the description for a petition be extended to an amount large enough to be able to to present a serious proposal regarding larger issues such as Congressional Reforms or Changes in the Electoral College.
I would recommend that the character amounts be doubled from their current limits to 1600 characters.
