Allow mount bikes along the entire length of the Colorado Trail.

Created by K.T. on January 23, 2013

The Colorado trail is one of the premier long distance hiking and mountain biking trails in the country. The issue is that there are six short sections out of an entire length of 500 miles which travel through wilderness areas. According to existing rules, no bikes are allowed in wilderness areas. This petition is to allow human powered mountain bikes i.e. no motor bikes, to traverse the wilderness areas on this trail and only this trail. This will make through biking this trail much more possible by eliminating the long detours currently required around the wilderness areas.
