Allow the citizens of the Navajo Nation to democratically elect voting representatives to the United States House of Representatives as well as an observant representative to the Senate.
Federally recognized tribes have the right to representation in our government and to be treated as states as many--in this case specifically the Navajo Nation--have conformed to the sole requirement of the U.S. Constitution that they have "a Republican Form of Government," a government that is a republic.
The allowance of an Indigenous people's government to participate within the larger federal government will also help return a lost voice to the original people of this land, a voice that all, including colonial era and post-colonial peoples, can benefit from.
