Education costs are at an all time high. It is assumed that those who achieve post-graduate education are financially stable. As new health professionals, as we struggle to become established in our professions & with current economic instability this assumption is incorrect. We are currently not allowed to deduct our SIGNIFICANT student loan interest.
Most dental and health professionals are very responsible and generous - many often donating their time, promoting education and helping society with their health and well-being. As we contribute to the health of our communities, this assistance in our initial stages would be a HUGE incentive. This would allow many new professionals to focus less on overwhelming financial concerns & be able to do more for the public.
