Allow non christian holidays to be considered national holidays and allow their observance and study in public schools.

Created by M.W. on February 10, 2014

Allow non christian holidays to be reconised as federal holidays, such as Beltane, Chanukah, Ramdan, and Kwanza along with many others. Require them to be accurately taught about in public schools and allowed for observation by non Christian students. Require employers to reconise and respect these holidays and allow their employees to celebrate in a mannor that is fitting the holiday. The First amendment says "freedom of religion" it says nothing about that having to be christain based religion. Allowing these holidays to be federally reconised will help the nation grow towards equality, tolerance, and understanding towards it's people.
