Allow non violent felons to obtain a carried concealed permit with a co-signer.

Felons are the most disregarded and unprotected class of people in America. Many felons are in prison for non-violent offenses, yet after their time has been served they are not fully restored to the rights and liberties every other American possess. Many felons have restored their life to productive citizens with families. However they are incapable of protecting their families from violent offenders. Many felons who have sought help from the police and courts because of violence against them yet are rendered incapable of defending themselves in a time of crisis. This plan of action would restore hard working America with a slightly jaded past an opportunity to protect themselves, family, and hunt for food if necessary.
