Allow Non violent felons the right to bear arms.

My petition is for non violent offenders who have minor felonies to have the right to defend themselves against opression and crime. The fact the word felon puts individuals in a group that most law abiding citizens see as scum or hard crimiinals, jobs are limited and so are alot of other opportunity. I find it unfair that a person who is not deemed a threat or violent should not have to wait 5 or 10 years to apply for a chance to get rights restored. Society is putting labels on everyone based apon 1 or 2 similarities between the group of people. I feel as well as others that we should treat individuals separately. Non violent felons should not have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for responders if they have intruders in there homes or if they are being mugged or being attacked. Thank you.
