Allow non-violent felons to seal their record at 10 years.

Created by W.S. on January 17, 2013

Recidivism is the result of a criminal who makes a mistake(s), rehabilitates, and reenters society with almost no options of where to live or work due to their past. This causes them to ultimately fall back into a cycle of crime thereby becoming a burden and menace to society.

Many rehabilitated criminals choose to create companies, become civic leaders or become motivational speakers to youth attempting to sway them from making the same poor choices. People like this need REAL forgiveness.

Sealing records over ten years old will help these people become valuable members of society. It's time to let these people successfully renter society by working decent jobs to support their families.
