To allow Nonviolent criminals to reduce prison sentences with military service.

Nonviolent first-time offenders serving a minimum of two years and a maximum of ten years in federal prison will be given the option to serve one year of military service for every two years of his/her prison sentence, not including basic training and technical school, for rehabilitation purposes and for increased cost of effectiveness and efficiency of the United States Criminal Justice System.
