To allow nonviolent US citizens to reclaim their life after their debt to society has been paid.

Created by M.C. on January 30, 2014

People that commit crimes as a teenager should not have to pay for those mistakes 25 years later. Non violent criminals in jail disrupt families and create more poverty. Today's laws and criminal justice system create and increase recidivism. Reform criminal justice policies on nonviolent crimes, drug abuse and those with mental health issues. People are bad because the get addicted. People aren't criminal because they have a mental health illness. Nonviolent criminals being taken away from society impact and cause greater harm. It is sad when I had to tell my 16 year old son who, is biracial but will be judged as being black, that he has a 50% chance of being arrested while only having a 19% chance of obtaining a bachelors degree. Why not be the generation to standup and make a change?
