In response to the unfortunate attacks in our schools in the past few years, we propose two options for student safety: that the United States federal government require each and every school teacher (regardless of his/her age and of the student body he/she teaches, whether it be one or one thousand, grade school or college, public or private) to take a government-funded course on firearm safety and operation, and be federally allowed to carry a concealed firearm. The second option is to provide a reasonably sized group of sound-minded United States armed military personal to patrol the campus and protect students and teachers in any public or private school and any public or private college. This will undoubtedly prevent another national tragedy.
