Allow our educators to carry firearms onto school grounds and into the classroom. Fed Gov provides training grants.

Created by J.S. on January 09, 2013

The federal government will provide grants to provide teacher in all districts the training they need to be certified to carry fire arms into the class room and on school grounds so as to provide instant response to any school shooter scenarios and to avoid the extra expense of school districts paying for more employees (armed guards) and keeping police out on the streets instead of acting as highly paid security officers in the schools. This should also work for post secondary establishments (colleges, tech schools, universities) as well as primary (k-12). Preschools and day cares should receive grants either to allow for 1 or more of their staff to carry firearms or for a local police officer to guard the establishment.
