Allow in our public schools (just as our forefathers did) our 1st Amendment Right to the free exercise of religion.

Created by T.G. on December 16, 2012

The U.S. Supreme Court through two landmark decisions (Engel v. Vitale in 1962 and Abington School District v. Schempp in 1963) has established the current prohibition on state-sponsored prayer in public schools. Since that time, society as a whole and public schools in particular have become increasingly violent and dangerous. Often, students themselves have shown a callus disregard for the sanctity of life by commiting lethal atrocities upon their own classmates. With the removal of our time-honored moral foundation introduced by our forefathers, these atrocities have escalated in frequency--being commited both by those within the schools and by those from the outside who seek easy prey. Removing God from our schools has not worked.
