Our soldiers fight and die for our freedoms and the freedoms of others around the world. The last thing they should have to worry about is an attack on them on American soil, especially at a military installation.
My petition is very simple, grant ALL active duty, National Guard, and Reserve members of the military an immediate national concealed weapons permit, to allow them to carry a weapon anywhere in the country, on base or off.
These are our soldiers, our heroes, these are the men and women who are willing to sacrifice everything for our country and our freedoms.
The least we can do is give them the ability to prevent such tragedies as the Ft Hood shooting of 2009 (and today), the Washington Navy Yard shooting of 2013, the Quantico shooting of 2013, among countless others.
