Allow our teachers to carry firearms for the defense of their students.

As seen in recent atrocities, there is a dire need to protect children in schools. With a complete ban on firearms in school zones, people must wait for law enforcement authorities to contain the situation. If our teachers were allowed to carry firearms for the defense of our children, situations could be contained or eliminated in a much faster time schedule with less casualties. Criminals will always gain access to weapons, we need those that are there to teach and protect our children to be adequately equipped for such heinous situations. Requirements for carrying should be a current valid concealed carry permit and an employee of the school where the weapon is carried.
