Parents that are paying child support have a deduction from their check after taxes. It has an effect on their living conditions i.e not being able to afford healthcare, pay rent ects. Some fathers disappear and move out of the country. If these parents are able to partially claim these children on their taxes, more parents would step up and support their children. Allow parents that are current with child support payments claim their children!
