Immigration is one of the key agenda's of Obama Administration and is a really important aspect for the upcoming elections.
Although the senate has tried to pass a major immigration bill, House has objected to take the bill forward because it does not address all issues according to them (border security, amnesty etc ).
I like to propose 2 options which can help both people who have been here legally and who have been waiting for Green Card forever and also help people who are illegal in US (other than Dreamers).
Allow parents of US citizens to apply for Green Card using Cross-chargeability of their US Born children and for people who have been illegal in US allow parents of US Born minor children who have been in US for a defined time-period to self petition themselves for Green Card.
