Paul Watson founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society is currently being pursued by the Government of Japan for his successful intervention of their government subsidised whaling program under the guise of scientific research known as the Institute of Cetacean Research.
The Government of Japan is now misusing Interpol to do what they can not; which is to stop Paul Watson from his intervention against them year after year, thusly he has been placed on the Interpols "Red Notice " and could be arrested and extradited to Japan.
The Obama Administration should consider ignoring this Red Notice, allow Paul Watson safe entry into America as he is not of any danger to anyone, and grant him political asylum due to the misuse of interpol which was started by Japan.
